Internet Explorer settings For Faculty and Staff

 
1.1.   In order to connect to the wireless LAN, you need to enable proxy as shown below. Open Internet Explorer, click on Tools and then select Internet Options.

1.2. Select Connections and click on LAN settings. 

1.3. Enable proxy and bypass proxy server by checking the boxes as shown in the figures below and then click  Advanced. Kindly note that Faculty and Staff should use different proxies as shown below.

For Faculty
 
Faculty: The proxy address should be entered as proxy.kfupm.edu.sa and the port should be 80 as shown in Figure 1.3(a) below.

1.3.1. Enter the information in "Proxy address to use" and "Exceptions" as shown below.

For Staff

1.4.     Staff: The proxy address should be entered as staffproxy.kfupm.edu.sa and the port should be 80 as shown in Figure 1.4(a) below.

1.1.   In order to connect to the wireless LAN in campus enable proxy as shown. Open Internet explorer, click on Tools and then select Internet Options.

1.2. Select Connections and click on LAN settings.

1.3. Enable proxy and bypass proxy server by checking the boxes as shown in the figure below. The proxy address should be entered as stuproxy.kfupm.edu.sa and the port should be 80. Then click Advanced.

1.4. Enter the information in "Proxy address to use" and "Exceptions" as shown below.
