Steps to Connect to Network Attached Storage for Users who are part of  ITC Windows 2000 Domain

If you are a part of ITC Windows 2000 domain, you can access your Network Attached Storage by double-clicking on H: drive. You have to logon to the domain before accessing it.

 

 Steps to Connect to Network Attached Storage for Users not part of  ITC Windows 2000 Domain

1:  On the My Computer window go to Tools and click Map Network Drive as shown.

 

 

 

2:  In order to map to your folder, use your Internet account.  As shown in the example below, the Internet user name is “test-ash”.  In the Folder box type in:

 \\kfupm-filer\your-internet-account-name      (In case of connection issues, use the fully qualified domain name as shown:)

\\kfupm-filer.kfupm.edu.sa\home$\your-internet-account-name

 

 

3:  To connect, enter your Internet user name and password as shown below.

 

 

4:  On successful connection, you will have your folder with a quota of 500MB as a network drive (Drive G: as shown below).  This will be your network storage where you can store all your important documents.
