Under the Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud; The 1st Saudi Renewable Energy Conference & Exhibition will take place at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals during the period 27-28 Rabi-I 1433 h ; February 19-20, 2012.
Worldwide renewable energy has gained much interest in the last few years mainly due to sharp increases in energy demand and more awareness and commitment towards a cleaner environment. The investment worldwide in the renewable energy sector has significantly increased during recent years. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, even though an oil-rich nation, has announced plans to pursue renewable energy in an effort to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and to contribute to a cleaner environment.   more
